Accounting Specialist / Deputy Head of HR & People Administration (60–80%)

At InterCheese, we like things honest, warm—and well organised. That’s why we’re looking for you as an Accounting Specialist / Deputy Head of HR & People Administration (60–80%). In this role you’ll keep our finances tidy (payments, dunning/collections, VAT returns, audits) and reliably step in for HR—from payroll to HR administration. Depending on your workload, you may also support controlling, cost-centre accounting, or contract management.

Your tasks

  • Independently manage the accounting function
  • Oversee and execute payment runs, including dunning/collections
  • Prepare VAT returns (DE and CH)
  • Prepare for and support audits (in cooperation with our external fiduciary/audit partner)
  • Deputise for the Head of HR (payroll and HR administration support)
  • Depending on FTE and fit: additional tasks in controlling, cost-centre accounting, and contract management

Requirement profile

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or similar education
  • Experience in finance & accounting and an interest in a production/wholesale environment
  • Affinity for numbers, structured working style, and systems thinking
  • Strong user skills in IT (MS Office) and experience with an ERP system
  • Excellent German; English and French are an advantage
